Get Summer Waves
Wash, condition and towel-dry your hair before bed, leaving it damp. The wavy style is best achieved when your hair has a chance to set overnight.
- 2). Part your hair down the center, from the forehead to the nape, and tie one side up with a rubber band. Apply mousse to the side left hanging down and comb it through, making sure all your hair gets coated with mousse.
- 3). Braid a french braid starting at the front of your hairline working back toward the back of your head. Continue braiding hair down until you reach the end, and secure the braid with a rubber band. Repeat this step again on the other side after you comb through the mousse.
- 4). Undo the braids in the morning using your fingers and do not comb through the waves. You may apply a couple sprays of water to your hair to give it a wetter look. Complete by spraying hair with hairspray.
- 5). Style your hair by pinning it half up, half down using bobby pins, or put it into a loose ponytail. Apply an anti-frizz serum to control any frizz. As an alternative to anti-frizz serum, apply a quarter-sized amount of baby oil to eliminate any frizz.
